About The Position

2Circle Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to support the AFLCMC Long Range Systems Division in the development, integration, and flight test of the JASSM-XR (AGM-158D) extreme-range cruise missile. The engineer serves as a technical advisor to the Government program office, supporting test strategy and planning across the development test enterprise.

The role supports aircraft integration activities across B-1B, B-52H, F-15E, and F-16 platforms and involves collaboration with the prime contractor, program office, operational test organizations, and DOT&E stakeholders. The position is on-site at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 12 or more years of professional engineering experience.
• Demonstrated background in weapons, munitions, or aircraft-store integration test and evaluation within a DoD acquisition environment.
• Working knowledge of developmental test planning and execution.
• Working knowledge of test instrumentation and telemetry.
• Working knowledge of flight test safety processes.
• Working knowledge of test data reduction and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage directly and daily with Government leadership, contractor technical staff, and test organization counterparts.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Prior Special Access Program (SAP) experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Test and Evaluation Master Plan and subordinate test plans.
• Review contractor test procedures, instrumentation approaches, and pre-test predictions.
• Participate in Test Readiness Reviews and support Government readiness determinations.
• Coordinate range, asset, and aircraft availability with the 96th Test Wing and other test organizations.
• Monitor captive carry, separation, and free-flight events.
• Analyze post-test data to assess performance against system requirements.
• Support aircraft integration activities across B-1B, B-52H, F-15E, and F-16 platforms.
• Work with the prime contractor, program office team, operational test organizations, and DOT&E stakeholders to keep the test program aligned to schedule, cost, and capability objectives.
