About The Position

Excelity is hiring a Test Engineer for a project building the next-generation Mission Integration System for a government customer with a critical mission. The Test Engineer will work with the engineering team and customer to support successful development of high-profile, complex technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of Excelity’s projects. The role requires a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or a PhD; an additional 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
• Knowledge of and experience with backend software testing.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Experience documenting test plans and procedures.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing automated software testing scripts.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment utilizing Java or Python.

Nice To Haves

• Software development experience in a virtual environment such as AWS.
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and GitLab.

Responsibilities
