About The Position

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Test Engineer to analyze system requirements, concepts of operations, acquisition plans, and system descriptions, then develop evaluation and test plans and procedures. The engineer prepares for and conducts data collection and analysis, reports status and results, and supports the development of Government test and evaluation (T&E) documentation, including T&E strategies, master plans, event test plans, test readiness assessments, and T&E reports. The role also coordinates with other test organizations to support T&E program integration and provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, maturity, and performance areas. The position plans and executes performance analysis and data collection; assesses testability, performance risks, operational environments, and evaluation scenarios; and coordinates T&E activities with systems engineering teams, users, and integrated test organizations. It produces evaluation and analysis plans, data requirements, risk assessments, reports, status updates, test plans, procedures, briefings, and data management plans. The engineer supports test readiness, executes tests and data collection, manages test resources and quality assurance, and coordinates directly with the Government sponsor. The role provides overall leadership for the T&E task and serves as the primary Government liaison for contract coordination and task execution. The position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, on the day shift. Travel is not required, and on-call support is required. A current TS/SCI clearance and polygraph are required. The projected annual compensation range is $205,000–$217,000.
