Custodian (TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Required)
About The Position
Fluor is hiring a Custodian to clean and maintain washrooms, office premises, floors, and common areas such as break and dining rooms. The role includes routine and heavy cleaning duties, along with basic custodial equipment maintenance and reporting needed site repairs to management. The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one. Weekend shifts are available, and occasional weekend work may be required based on staffing. The stated hourly rate is $26.50 plus $5.55 per hour in fringe benefits. The listed salary range is $43,000 to $66,000. Positions covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act will comply with applicable statutory requirements.
Requirements
- A combination of education and directly related experience equivalent to one year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to meet local requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the work.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
- Basic computer knowledge, including the ability to use email, the internet, and Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors; remove trash and general refuse.
- Dust furniture and fixtures and polish metal fixtures or trimmings.
- Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
- Perform heavy cleaning, including deep-cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing additional rubbish.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as vacuums and custodial hand tools.
- Notify management when site repairs are needed.
