About The Position

Fluor is hiring a Custodian to clean and maintain washrooms, offices, a range of flooring types, and shared spaces such as break and dining areas. The work includes routine custodial duties and heavier cleaning tasks, along with basic maintenance of custodial equipment and reporting site repair needs. The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active or obtainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The stated hourly rate is $25.25 plus $5.55 per hour in fringe pay.

Requirements

A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the work.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active or obtainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Basic computer knowledge, including email, internet, and Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors.
Remove trash and general refuse.
Dust furniture and fixtures, and polish metal fixtures or trim.
Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Perform heavy cleaning, including deep-cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing additional rubbish.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as vacuums and custodial hand tools.
Notify management when site repairs are needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
