About The Position

ISHPI is seeking a Test Engineer III to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) program for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, Virginia. The role manages supported C5ISC systems and provides engineering and technical-writing services, including systems, software, hardware, network, test, and electronic engineering.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in Engineering or Engineering Science.
• Nine years of work experience in test design, development engineering, or a related field.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Department of Defense government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support related to acquisition program test phases.
• Develop test documentation, including strategies, plans, procedures, and reports, for the acquisition program.
• Conduct systems tests supporting user requirements for complex to highly complex software and hardware applications.
• Direct and/or participate in testing-related risk management assessments and software and hardware development phases.
• Analyze user requirements, develop test plans, select test tools, conduct tests, and document test results.
