About The Position

The Test Debug & RCA Engineer designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment throughout product development and manufacturing. The role prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and develops specifications and procedures for new products. It also plans equipment needed to test and evaluate standard and special devices. The engineer develops and maintains production test processes, trains production employees, and troubleshoots systems using root-cause analysis. The role includes coding test scripts, configuring high-end servers, developing integration and test strategies, and building systems to drawing packages, including installing hardware in racks, labeling and running cables, and loading applications and operating systems. The engineer may also set parameters and test customer samples, review test equipment and capacity, and work on complex problems involving analysis and coordination with leadership across functional areas, divisions, or customers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
At least 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain test process instructions (TPI) for production.
Train production employees on test processes.
Troubleshoot systems and perform root-cause analysis.
Prepare complex test and diagnostic programs.
Code test scripts.
Configure high-end servers.
Develop integration and test strategy and schedule test plans and scripts.
Design test fixtures and equipment.
Complete specifications and procedures for new products.
Set parameters and test customer samples, as needed.
Install hardware into racks and label and run cables.
Build systems to drawing packages, including loading applications and operating systems.
Review test equipment and capacity.
Evaluate complex problems and interact with leadership on matters involving several functional areas, divisions, or customers.
