About The Position

The Infosys Financial Services unit delivers digital transformation solutions for financial institutions, using technologies such as AI, cloud, and data-led innovation across banking, wealth management, and insurance. In the assigned Technology Consultant 1 job role, the employee contributes across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, software design and documentation, application development, test execution, integration, and production support. The role focuses on software testing and test automation, including Selenium with Java, TestNG, and API automation with Rest Assured, and supports banking-domain applications. The position requires working from the office four days per week and may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing and test automation.
• Experience with Selenium automation using Java.
• Experience with TestNG for automated test execution.
• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured.
• Experience supporting banking-domain applications.
• Experience with test design and test execution.
• Experience working with Agile methodology and Rally.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience collaborating with development, testing, and business teams.
• Ability to work from the office four days per week.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and accurately document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications according to detailed design specifications and user requirements.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team to support software performance improvements.
• Support integration of new software features into existing system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly, and document system maintenance.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for the team's knowledge repository.
• Collaborate across areas of the software development lifecycle and with development, testing, and business teams.
• Take a proactive approach to monitoring and resolving production issues.
