About The Position

This role will support KONE Americas' Trumbull, CT, Albany, Rochester, and Syracuse, NY branches, sitting at one of those locations. The position will initially be 100% in-office during training, eventually transitioning to a hybrid schedule. The Test and Code Compliance Coordinator will manage local and district processes for scheduling, and interface with Service/Repair Supervisors, customers, 3rd party inspection companies, and local regulatory bodies to schedule testing and inspections. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across all levels of the organization, and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a passion for quality, results, and promoting a safety culture are essential.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive and successful customer service experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Well Organized.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • High School education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage local and district processes for scheduling testing and inspections.
  • Interface with Service/Repair Supervisors, customers, 3rd party inspection companies, and local regulatory bodies to schedule testing and inspections.
  • Schedule and coordinate with Service/Repair Supervisors and Repair Operations Specialist in scheduling of other planned repairs to support efficiency in managing technician and crew schedules.
  • Work with Branch Staffs on expectations, processes, and information required to support Testing and Code Compliance processes.
  • Create billable tenders for testing and inspections for customers (for branches not on ATI Tender Creation), follow-up to obtain approval, create Billable Service Orders, and requisition parts as required.
  • Lead, coordinate, and maintain accuracy of Automatic Test and Inspection Database (ATI) and SAP contractual testing requirements.
  • Report out weekly testing and inspection status to the General Manager and Service and Solutions.
  • Track and manage permits and communicate completed inspections to government agencies and customers.
  • Adapt to and implement changes as a result of tracking and monitoring local regulatory directives/violations and requirements, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) code compliance.
  • Manage invoice disputes on billable testing and inspections.
