About The Position
We are seeking a TESOL Teacher to support English language learners by providing engaging instruction that builds their language skills, confidence, and academic success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Education, English, or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification or TESOL/ESL endorsement, as required.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for students with varying language abilities.
- Commitment to supporting multilingual learners in an inclusive school environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with English language learners preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English language instruction for multilingual learners.
- Develop lessons that support speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Adapt instruction to meet students’ individual language proficiency levels.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate instructional records.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student learning.
- Provide targeted support to help students participate successfully in the general education curriculum.
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with families and educational team members.
