About The Position
We are seeking a TESOL Teacher to help multilingual learners strengthen their English proficiency and confidently participate in academic and classroom activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, ESL, Education, English, or a related field.
- Valid state teaching license or ESL/TESOL endorsement, as applicable.
- Knowledge of differentiated and culturally responsive instructional practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a supportive environment that encourages language development and student confidence.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching multilingual or English language learners preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated English language instruction based on students’ proficiency levels.
- Create engaging activities that develop vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Use assessments to identify student needs and monitor language growth.
- Support English language learners in accessing grade-level academic content.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate language development across subjects.
- Maintain student progress records and instructional documentation.
- Encourage a culturally responsive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate student progress and learning needs with families and school staff.
