About The Position

Purina is seeking a focused Sales Professional to take ownership of a territory covering Western Sydney, Blue Mountains, Orange, and surrounding suburbs to drive sales, distribution, and growth. The role involves working with a diverse range of customers including independent grocers, corporate and independent specialty retailers, and multi-site operators. This position offers the opportunity to act as a category expert, influential negotiator, and customer business partner.

Requirements

Previous sales experience demonstrating success working in cross-functional teams
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
Full Australian working rights
Ability to undergo pre-employment checks, including health checks

Responsibilities

Facilitating training sessions in-store with sales staff on Purina products and superior nutritional solutions
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with external customers and key internal contacts
Delivering customer sales through implementation and execution of Field Sales Cycle Plan
Ensuring customer/shopper engagement through shelf and merchandising strategies
Delivering to sales KPI’s
Seeking out new business opportunities
