Victaulic, a global leader in mechanical pipe joining innovations, is seeking to expand its outside sales team with high-powered sales representatives. This role involves daily travel to meet with customers, visit job sites, and build relationships with key stakeholders. The sales team is composed of self-starters with strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and effective communication abilities. The company offers an excellent training program to help new hires learn about Victaulic's products and solutions, as well as industry knowledge regarding pipe joining methods, construction cycles, market trends, and competitor activity. Sales representatives are expected to integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations. They will work with their Regional Sales Manager to develop business plans, set sales goals, and implement strategies to maximize sales potential. Responsibilities include executing all phases of project pursuit and management, from inception through bidding, job site training, and after-sale follow-up. This involves gathering complete information for quotation requisitions and leading internal teams to meet customer requirements. Building strong relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners is crucial. This includes spending time with customers, which may extend beyond normal business hours for social events. Partnering with Victaulic distributors and coordinating activities with other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists are also key aspects of the role. The goal is to educate customers on the value of Victaulic products and influence decision-makers to maximize sales potential.
