About The Position

This role is for experienced sales representatives who have sold capital equipment, machine tools, or manufacturing solutions. The position focuses on owning a territory, building relationships with customers, and closing meaningful deals rather than transactional sales. The Territory Sales Manager will represent high-impact equipment such as CNC, laser, and fabrication solutions that improve customer operations, fostering long-term partnerships. Top performers can expect to build a book of business and earn well into six figures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience (machine tools, fabrication, industrial, or similar)
  • Proven track record managing a territory and closing deals
  • Ability to work independently and stay disciplined in the field
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable being in shops, on the floor, and in front of customers
  • Up to 75% travel within your territory
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (demo materials, small equipment, etc.)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined territory across Southern Minnesota
  • Build relationships with fabricators, manufacturers, and decision-makers
  • Identify opportunities and drive new business development
  • Run a consultative sales process—from first conversation to install
  • Manage capital equipment deals with longer sales cycles and higher dollar value
  • Partner with applications and service teams to deliver real solutions
  • Stay close to your customers—on-site, in the shop, and in the field
