Requirements

Engineering degree in Materials or Mechanical
5–10 years industrial sales experience with fabrication, MRO, welding consumables, coatings, or wear‑management solutions.
Strong understanding of maintenance/repair welding and protective coatings.
Consultative communication skills; mechanical aptitude; CRM proficiency.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated and self-directed individual
Well organized and detail-oriented and good with time management skills
Ability to travel up to 60%
Must hold a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

Grow wear services including fabrication, maintenance and repair (MRO), abrasion resistant plate, welding consumables, thermal spray powders/wires, and industrial coating solutions.
Work with Services, Product Managers, and Marketing to identify opportunities in welding, hardfacing, repair, and protective coatings.
Build strong relationships with fabrication shops, maintenance teams, welding supervisors, and reliability professionals.
Identify customer needs suited for fabrication services, maintenance, repair and overhaul of equipment, welding consumables and coating solutions.
Provide guidance on welding procedures, welding material selection, coating specifications, and wear‑protection designs.
Develop strategies to expand welding and coating product line usage.
