About The Position

The Territory Merchandising/Stocking Rep services Novo Building Products products, including lumber, moulding, and millwork, within Lowe’s stores. The role covers one store in Presque Isle, Maine, with a schedule of Monday or Tuesday for 15–20 hours per week. The representative travels to assigned stores on a regular, predetermined call schedule and may occasionally travel to additional stores outside the assigned territory. Overnight or daily travel may be required, and travel expenses are covered under the Corporate Travel Policy. The representative stocks replenishment orders, maintains inventory and product presentation, processes returns and credits for damaged products, and helps manage stock levels to reduce outages. The role also involves maintaining relationships with store personnel, training them on company products and services, recommending products and changes based on performance and market conditions, supporting store resets and special events, and managing expenses according to company policies. The position pays $23 per hour and offers a $2,000 new-hire sign-on bonus paid in four $500 increments after 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, and 12 months, subject to attendance requirements. Requirements

High school diploma.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Proof of current auto insurance.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
Selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Ability to demonstrate courtesy, diplomacy, and tact, and to foster relationships based on integrity and professionalism.
Ability to drive to and from stores and to undertake required overnight or daily travel.
Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including standing and walking, bending or twisting, lifting, and pushing or pulling wheeled equipment.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned stores on a regular, predetermined call schedule and, when required, travel to additional stores outside the assigned territory.
Build and maintain relationships with store personnel, including store management, red vest employees, and MST.
Maintain accurate inventory through focus and cycle count adjustments and notify customers of necessary changes when appropriate.
Maintain the appearance of company products by cleaning, culling, placing suggested orders, preparing returns and credits, and keeping point-of-purchase materials current and in place.
Stock assigned replenishment orders within 48 hours of delivery to the store and stock additional stores as needed.
Provide training to store personnel on company products and services.
Analyze performance, product mix, market conditions, and new product opportunities, and recommend changes when appropriate.
Facilitate store reset activity with the NHC Store Planning Team as required.
Participate in special events such as grand openings, contractor nights, product knowledge training, and company meetings.
Manage expenses according to corporate policies and procedures.
Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, ethics, high standards of conduct, and a can-do attitude.
