About The Position

The Territory Market Representative is a field-based sales professional responsible for driving business growth within a defined territory by developing new OEM and distributor relationships. This role focuses on expanding market presence across agriculture, construction, forestry, and related industries through proactive prospecting, in-person engagement, and strategic account development. The ideal candidate thrives in an outbound, relationship-driven environment and is motivated to deliver measurable revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust in face-to-face interactions
  • Comfortable with prospecting and initiating new business conversations
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, construction, forestry, or industrial sales
  • Familiarity with OEM and/or distributor sales channels
  • Demonstrated success in business development or territory growth roles

Responsibilities

  • Drive territory growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new OEM and distributor accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular in-person engagement
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet clients and strengthen market presence
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads and increase brand visibility
  • Develop, manage, and advance a robust sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the territory
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets through new business development
