About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Territory Manager to drive sales growth across the San Francisco Bay Area (including Fresno up to Northern CA and Nevada (excluding Las Vegas) for an established portfolio of medical devices used in urology and endourology procedures. This field-based sales role builds relationships with urologists, hospital stakeholders, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinical teams. The Territory Manager will own the full sales cycle, including identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, supporting procedures, conducting product evaluations, and navigating hospital contracting and approval processes. The ideal candidate is a competitive, relationship-driven medical device sales professional who is comfortable working in procedural environments and building a territory through both clinical and strategic selling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of successful medical device, surgical, procedural, or healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling into urology, the operating room, procedural specialties, or hospital environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong ability to develop physician relationships and influence multiple stakeholders within complex healthcare accounts.
  • Experience navigating hospital systems, IDNs, value analysis committees, contracting, and purchasing processes is preferred.
  • Comfortable providing support within procedural and clinical environments.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, organization, and territory management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently develop and grow a territory.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Bay Area territory as required.

  • This individual should be comfortable developing relationships with physicians, supporting procedures, opening new accounts, and strategically expanding business within large hospital systems.
  • Experience in urology, endourology, stone management, surgical devices, disposables, or other physician-driven procedural technologies would translate particularly well to this opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with urologists, surgeons, clinical staff, hospital administration, supply chain, and purchasing teams.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Provide clinical and procedural support to physicians and healthcare professionals when appropriate.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, presentations, and customer education.
  • Partner with physicians and clinical stakeholders to understand procedural needs and identify opportunities to improve patient care and workflow.
  • Navigate hospital value analysis, contracting, purchasing, and product approval processes.
  • Expand utilization within existing accounts while developing new customers throughout the territory.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting and territory reporting.
  • Collaborate with clinical, marketing, sales leadership, and other internal partners to support territory growth.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, procedural trends, and evolving technologies within the urology market.
