About The Position

International Drilling Equipment (IDE) is seeking a Territory Manager to join their team. The Territory Manager is responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer relationships, and identifying new markets. This role involves a mix of sales, customer service, and administrative tasks, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and representing the company. IDE provides high-quality foundation equipment and drill rigs, supported by client education and ongoing equipment servicing. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of sales experience in a similar industry.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent personnel relation skills.
Good computer and systems knowledge including Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to manage multiple customer data, and priorities and develop relationships with internal, potential, and external customers as well as manufacturer’s representatives.
Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
Personable, a problem solver, self-motivated, take initiative, a leader of people, ethical, intelligent, and able to adapt to all of the forces around them - customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers, and manufacturers employees.

Responsibilities

Generating new sales and revenue by using resources to research untapped market sectors
Manage and maintain existing customer relations by constant contact/communication.
Qualifying prospects, handling minor grievances, helping collect payments, and acting as a liaison to the parts and service department for clients.
Monitor and be cost-conscious of traveling expenses for the region.
Participate in Trade Shows and conferences.
Maintain a log of activity, call reporting system and/or CRM for assigned region.
Responsible for learning and increasing product knowledge through job site visits, IDE class opportunities, and traveling with other IDE personnel.
Offer and represent all product lines carried by IDE in assigned region.
Develop a traveling agenda that allows personal interaction with each client at least once a quarter.
Compliance in a timely manner with any management-requested information.
Help develop a sales forecast and status of offers/deals tracking database.
Follow all IDE policies and procedures.
Participate in Sales Development seminars once a year.
Serve as a Brand Ambassador for IDE and its suppliers.
Arranging and Scheduling Sales Trips for the purpose of obtaining new sales leads and opportunities, providing and marketing information on IDE services and product lines, introducing new innovations to clients, and helping provide solutions based on IDE resources.
Growing Region Revenue by researching and making cold calls to new prospects, following up on leads, closing deals, understanding and investigating client’s needs and challenges, and researching clients’ current equipment and tooling status.
Increase Product Knowledge by visiting job sites, taking notes and asking questions during traveling opportunities with other IDE personnel or conference calls, attending training sessions, and understanding where to find the answer and doing research prior to asking for an answer.
