About The Position

Endo Mechanical and Intelligent Devices (EMID) provides a broad portfolio of surgical technologies, including open and laparoscopic stapling systems, ligation devices, access and hand instruments, powered stapling platforms, and intelligent surgical solutions that support procedural efficiency and clinical outcomes. The team partners with surgeons, operating theatre staff, and healthcare institutions to expand adoption of advanced surgical technologies across assigned territories. This role is based in Mumbai, India and is field-based/onsite within the assigned territory. The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving business across government hospitals in Mumbai and is expected to travel regularly within the city to support customer engagement, operating theatre coverage, product evaluations, training, and account development activities. The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, market development, and customer engagement for the EMID portfolio across government hospitals in Mumbai. This role works closely with surgeons, operating theatre teams, procurement stakeholders, and key opinion leaders to support product adoption, deliver clinical and technical expertise, and achieve territory business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling surgical stapling technologies or related advanced surgical solutions.
  • Experience managing government hospital accounts and healthcare procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of surgical workflows, operating theatre practices, and clinical decision-making processes.
  • Experience developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence (COEs).

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales objectives by driving product adoption, utilisation, and secondary sales growth across assigned government hospital accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating theatre teams, procurement stakeholders, and key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Provide in-theatre clinical support, product demonstrations, and procedural assistance to support effective product use and customer adoption.
  • Identify, develop, and execute account plans for priority customers to expand market penetration and achieve focus product targets.
  • Collect and analyse market, competitor, procedure, and customer utilisation data to identify growth opportunities and inform territory strategies.
  • Organise customer education initiatives, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes, and approved marketing activities in partnership with regional and marketing teams.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence (COEs) within the territory.
