About The Position

The Endo Mechanical and Intelligent Devices (EMID) team offers a comprehensive portfolio of surgical technologies, including open and laparoscopic stapling systems, ligation devices, access and hand instruments, powered stapling platforms, and intelligent surgical solutions. The team partners with surgeons, operating theatre staff, and healthcare institutions to support the adoption of advanced surgical technologies and improve procedural outcomes. This Territory Manager role is based in Mumbai, India, supporting government and public healthcare accounts across the Western Suburban territory. The position is field-based and requires regular travel within the city to support customer engagement, operating theatre coverage, product evaluations, training, and account development activities. The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, expanding product adoption, and managing customer relationships for the EMID portfolio within assigned government hospital accounts across Mumbai's Western Suburban territory. The role combines territory business management, clinical support, account development, and engagement with key healthcare stakeholders to achieve commercial and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience
  • Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling surgical stapling technologies or other advanced surgical devices.
  • Experience managing government hospital accounts and public healthcare procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, operating theatre workflows, and clinical decision-making environments.
  • Experience establishing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence (COEs).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using market and customer insights to develop territory growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales objectives by driving product utilisation, secondary sales growth, and focus product performance across assigned government hospital accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans for priority customers to increase market penetration and expand portfolio adoption.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating theatre personnel, procurement teams, and hospital decision-makers.
  • Provide clinical support in operating theatres, including product demonstrations, evaluations, and procedural assistance as required.
  • Collect, analyse, and utilise market, procedure, customer, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and support territory planning.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence (COEs) within the territory.
  • Partner with regional and marketing teams to organise Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes and approved customer engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, account updates, and required business trackers.
