About The Position

Endo Mechanical and Intelligent Devices (EMID) offers a comprehensive portfolio of surgical technologies, including open and laparoscopic stapling systems, ligation devices, access and hand instruments, powered stapling platforms, and intelligent surgical solutions. The team partners with surgeons, operating theatre staff, and healthcare institutions to drive the adoption of advanced surgical technologies and support improved procedural outcomes. This Territory Manager role is based in Bangalore, India, supporting healthcare customers across the East and North Bangalore territory. The position is field-based and requires regular travel within the city to support customer engagement, operating theatre coverage, clinical support activities, product evaluations, and account management. The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding product adoption, and managing customer relationships for the EMID portfolio within the assigned territory. The role combines territory development, account management, clinical support, and stakeholder engagement to achieve business objectives and strengthen customer partnerships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience

  • Experience supporting surgeons and clinical teams in operating theatres during surgical procedures.
  • Experience selling advanced surgical technologies, surgical consumables, or related medical device solutions.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, operating theatre workflows, and hospital purchasing processes.
  • Experience developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence (COEs).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using market and customer insights to develop territory growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales objectives by driving product utilisation, secondary sales growth, and focus product performance across assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans to increase market penetration and expand adoption of the EMID portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating theatre personnel, pharmacists, procurement stakeholders, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Provide product demonstrations, clinical support, and procedural assistance during product evaluations and customer adoption activities.
  • Gather and analyse market, customer, procedure, and competitive intelligence to identify business opportunities and support territory planning.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence (COEs) within the territory.
  • Partner with regional and marketing teams to organise Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes and approved customer engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, account updates, and required business trackers.
