About The Position

The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving sales and business objectives within their assigned geography for a dermatology product. This is accomplished by partnering with healthcare professionals, key clinics, and teaching hospitals to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and gather customer insights. The position requires operating in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment shaped by competitive activities, government legislation, clinical practices, and technological developments, while remaining consistent with Organon's Code of Conduct, Values, Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards, and all laws and regulations. An inclusive culture that promotes employee engagement and innovation is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Bus Admin., Marketing, Commerce, Science or related field.
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and related software.
  • Travel required (>50%), along with a valid driver’s license.
  • A spotless record of ethics and compliance to all industry rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to think strategically, critically and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and clearly communicate scientific concepts and data.
  • Ability to engage in patient management discussions, leveraging therapeutic, product, market access and physician support expertise, providing value to customers.
  • Ability to analyze, produce, execute and track a territory business plan.
  • Ability to rapidly build networks and relationships based on trust.
  • High level of proficiency in negotiation skills, management of objections and adversity.
  • In-depth understanding of the Canadian reimbursement system.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Language: English.

Nice To Haves

  • French is an asset but required for Quebec based roles
  • Experience in Specialty medicine, particularly in dermatology, is a strong asset.
  • Good understanding of Patient Support Programs is an asset.
