About The Position

Hillyard, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team in the Greater Hershey Area. This role is ideal for an experienced outside sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and growing business face-to-face. The position offers the opportunity to manage an established territory with an existing customer base, expand business throughout the Indianapolis Metro Area, and build long-term partnerships with businesses. Hillyard has over 100 years of success and offers industry-leading products.

Requirements

Proven success in outside B2B sales or territory sales.
A passion for developing long-term customer relationships.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your schedule and territory independently.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Consultative selling experience with a focus on solving customer problems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable spending the majority of your time in the field meeting with customers.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant sales experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow an established sales territory with an existing customer base.
Visit customers, build relationships, and identify opportunities to grow their business.
Prospect for new business while expanding existing customer partnerships.
Deliver consultative, solution-based sales presentations tailored to each customer's needs.
Demonstrate innovative products, equipment, and cleaning solutions that improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and recommendations that help customers achieve their business goals.
Manage sales pipeline, customer activity, and opportunities using CRM tools.
Partner with service, operations, and technical support teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
