About The Position

Toast is seeking a Bilingual Mandarin Territory Account Executive to join their Strategic Cuisines team in Portland, OR. This role is responsible for supporting new business acquisition efforts within Asian cuisines, focusing on converting inbound demand and generating new demand through referrals. The Account Executive will provide a tailored experience to customers, overcoming language barriers and demonstrating how Toast's digital platform can benefit restaurants. Daily activities include calls, emails, product demonstrations, and contract management, all while ensuring restaurants understand the value of Toast's integrated digital platform.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both oral and written English and Mandarin is required.
  • Prior Sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • An entrepreneurial and feedback-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Following up on marketing qualified leads in the market.
  • Conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations in the customer's preferred language (Mandarin).
  • Creating and reviewing quotes and contracts in the customer's preferred language (Mandarin).
  • Ensuring successful handoff to the onboarding team and setting up customers for post-sale success.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) to effectively position Toast.
