About The Position
This person is the first point of contact, managing the guests experience from arrival to departure. Greeting guests, managing reservations, managing seating flow, quoting wait times and controlling the pace of the dining room.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hotel property.
- Familiarization with menus.
- Knowledge of daily specials.
- Knowledge of hotel property and downtown area.
- Familiarity with all food and beverage promotions.
- Must Provide ServSafe and RAMP certifications upon hire.
- Ability to answer telephone and take reservations.
- Able to seat guests.
- Able to answer telephone, greet guests and take reservations, solve problems.
- Able to take reservations.
Responsibilities
- Assist managers in opening and closing.
- Answering phone calls per SOP & LSOP.
- Seating guests.
- Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance.
- Attend to and anticipate guests needs.
- Introduce server to guest.
- Greeting guests.
- Assign tables and stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Perform all duties in accordance with MOS.
