About The Position

ONX Wines is hiring a part-time weekend Tasting Room Host to join our team. This role is for an enthusiastic and friendly individual who will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Tasting Room Host will greet guests upon entry and lead them to a tasting experience with one of our Hospitality team members. Requirements

Must be 18+ years of age.
Must be able to lift 45 - 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have an interest in wine.
Must have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills; ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Must be able to engage with guests, and the ability to freely and comfortably initiate conversations.
Must have the ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively.
Must be available to work weekends and holiday weekends, specifically from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

Warmly welcomes guests upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
Escorts guests to their tasting area and introduces them to their designated Hospitality team member.
Provides excellent customer service, addressing any immediate questions or needs guests may have.
Ensures the entry area is organized and that guests are directed smoothly to their tastings.
Collaborates closely with the Hospitality team to ensure seamless service and communication.
Adheres to all safety and compliance regulations, including age verification as necessary.
Prepares the tasting room by following the opening and closing procedures.
Manages cleanliness and appearance of all tasting room areas.
Assists in stocking the tasting room with wine, supplies, glasses, bags, and merchandise daily.
Upon hire, successfully completes ServSafe training (food handler certification) and Workplace Harassment Prevention training.
