About The Position

The Terminal Operator will operate heavy equipment, primarily a front-end loader, as well as other heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and conveyors in a bulk material handling environment. This role is also responsible for operator-level daily mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and conveyors.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to withstand extreme weather conditions- majority of the time will be working outside.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC Certification.
• Ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, various operating systems, and other company software).
• Successful completion of validated testing, background check and drug screen upon offer.

• CDL a plus but not required
