About The Position

Cemex US is seeking a proactive and skilled Terminal Operator to support terminal operations. The role involves ensuring products are handled, loaded, and shipped efficiently while maintaining high safety standards, and performing hands-on equipment maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. The operator manages daily terminal activity, supports customer service and logistics, and assists with training new team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude and ability to work well with customers and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in terminal operations or a similar industrial setting.
• Certifications or training in welding, electrical work, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize daily terminal operations to support efficient logistics and customer service.
• Oversee safe and efficient loading and unloading of bulk materials in accordance with safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Follow Cemex safety standards, use personal protective equipment, and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Serve as a customer point of contact and address inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.
• Work with the logistics team to optimize schedules and resources.
• Assist with training new team members.
