About The Position

The Tender Specialist is a strategic role in DSV, focused on managing and optimizing the tender process for the company. This position plays a critical role in developing pricing strategies, responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), and ensuring competitive positioning in the market.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tender management, marketing, or pricing
Strong understanding of logistics and transportation industry dynamics.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Proficient in market research and competitive analysis.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with tender management software and data analysis tools.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
Certification in pricing strategy or logistics.
Previous experience with tender management software.

Responsibilities

Lead the process of responding to tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) specific to Air freight.
Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive responses.
Develop and implement air pricing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
Conduct competitive analysis to ensure the competitiveness of pricing structures.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market research.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to create compelling and competitive proposals.
Ensure accuracy and completeness in all tender submissions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
Participate in contract negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Analyze historical data and trends to optimize pricing models.
Provide data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments.
Prepare and present regular reports on tender performance, win/loss analysis, and pricing effectiveness.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
