About The Position

The Temporary Transportation and Production Specialist supports inbound transportation and production activities. Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the role may also serve as a liaison with Kendra Scott vendors and internal and external business partners. This is a high-energy environment for a supply chain professional.

The position is split between production support and transportation support. Production duties include organizing and entering purchase order data in Oracle MFCS and helping audit that data. Transportation duties include maintaining shipment tracking documents, communicating with cross-functional teams about inbound shipments, booking LTL/FTL shipments with freight providers as requested, submitting and monitoring outbound package claims, and processing and maintaining transportation invoice records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supply chain support role or at least 1 year of experience in a compliance-based role.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and enter purchase order data into Oracle MFCS.
• Assist in auditing purchase order data in MFCS.
• Update tracking documents and communicate daily with cross-functional teams regarding inbound shipments.
• Engage freight providers to book LTL/FTL shipments requested by cross-functional teams.
• Submit and monitor outbound package claims.
• Process and maintain transportation invoice records.
• On occasion, act as a liaison with vendors and internal and external business partners.
