About The Position

Temporary Staff support store sales and profitability by welcoming customers, identifying their needs, and using product knowledge to offer solutions. The role also assists with merchandising, promotes Jockey Rewards® membership, follows company policies and procedures, and helps maintain positive working relationships and a safe, clean store environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stockroom, bend repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, twist, stoop, squat, and ascend and descend a ladder to stock and merchandise the store.
• Ability to work with or around cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm, sincere greeting, including the current promotional message.
• Engage customers to identify their needs and use product knowledge to offer appropriate solutions.
• Assist in driving store-level sales and profitability.
• Assist with stocking, markdowns, and visual merchandising in accordance with established standards.
• Promote awareness of and excitement for Jockey Rewards® membership.
• Follow all Jockey policies and procedures.
• Establish positive working relationships with co-workers to support productivity and shared goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
