About The Position

Temporary Staff support store operations and sales by welcoming customers, learning their needs, and recommending products. The role also assists with store merchandising, sales and profitability, Jockey Rewards® membership growth, and maintaining a safe, clean workplace while following company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stockroom; repeatedly bend, stand for prolonged periods, twist, stoop, squat, and ascend and descend a ladder to stock and merchandise the store.
• Ability to work with or around cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers warmly and sincerely, including communicating the current promotional message.
• Engage customers to identify their needs and use product knowledge to offer solutions.
• Assist in driving store-level sales and profitability.
• Assist with product stocking, markdowns, and visual merchandising according to established standards.
• Promote awareness of and excitement about Jockey Rewards® membership.
• Follow Jockey policies and procedures.
• Build positive working relationships with coworkers to support productivity and shared goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
