About The Position

Temporary Staff support store operations by welcoming customers, identifying their needs, and using product knowledge to recommend solutions. The role assists with store sales and profitability, product merchandising, promotion of Jockey Rewards® membership, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Staff are expected to follow company policies and procedures and work productively with co-workers toward shared goals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; repeatedly bend, stand for prolonged periods, twist, stoop, and squat; and ascend and descend a ladder to stock and merchandise the store.
• Ability to work with or around cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm, sincere greeting, including the current promotional message.
• Engage customers to identify their needs and use product knowledge to offer solutions.
• Assist in driving store-level sales and profitability.
• Assist with merchandising product, including stocking, markdowns, and visual presentation, in accordance with established standards.
• Promote awareness of and excitement about Jockey Rewards® membership.
• Ensure adherence to Jockey policies and procedures.
• Establish positive working relationships with co-workers to support productivity and shared goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
