About The Position

Temporary Staff support store sales and profitability by greeting customers, identifying their needs, and using product knowledge to offer solutions. The role also assists with merchandising, promotes Jockey Rewards® membership, follows company policies and procedures, builds positive working relationships with co-workers, and helps maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Pay range: $17.00–$17.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, bend repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, twist, stoop, squat, and ascend and descend a ladder to stock and merchandise the store.
• Ability to work with or around cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all customers, including the current promotional message.
• Engage customers to identify their needs and use product knowledge to offer solutions.
• Assist in driving store-level sales and profitability.
• Assist with merchandising products, including stocking, markdowns, and visuals, in accordance with established visual standards.
• Promote awareness of and excitement about Jockey Rewards® membership.
• Ensure adherence to Jockey policies and procedures.
• Establish positive working relationships with co-workers to support productivity and shared goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
