About The Position
This is a temporary position for the collection season. The role involves various meter reading tasks, leak surveys, field collections, and assisting with other assignments as needed. Emergency calls may also be required.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and ability, high degree of dependability, and capable of exercising good judgment.
- Must pass Company physical and qualifying tests.
- Must have Massachusetts Drivers License and be in good physical condition.
- Must be an approved driver of Company trucks.
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test as this position is a covered classification under D.O.T. Anti-Drug-Alcohol Program regulations.
Responsibilities
- All meter reading (Pedestrian, AMR, soft off and on)
- Physical offs
- ERT changes
- Leak Survey and Leak Surveillance (including leak classification)
- Field collections
- Wires down standby
- Assist on two-person assignments as needed
- Emergency calls may be required
