We anticipate the need for one Temporary Helper located at our La Crosse Service Center in La Crosse, WI. The starting pay rate for this position is $27.58 hourly. Candidate skills and qualifications will be evaluated and, in conformity to union contract, appropriate placement will be offered to a successful candidate. The scheduled working hours for this position are between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm.  This is a temporary, non-benefitted position. The anticipated start date for this position will be in April and could potentially extend for the remainder of 2026. Summary This position is responsible for Department of Transportation (DOT) natural gas compliance work, to include, surveys walking and atmospheric corrosion surveys, and painting of new or existing gas risers, gas meters or other gas facilities. Assisting with maintenance, installation and repair of gas facilities. Occasional heavier labor assisting gas crews.
