About The Position

The Department of Theatre and Dance at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is seeking applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments. Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.
Prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
Applicants must have experience in teaching and working with colleagues from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment.

Nice To Haves

A Master’s degree or MFA in [Theatre] or related discipline and prior college-level teaching experience and relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned lower and upper division courses in the department’s curriculum.
Serve weekly office hours based on assigned teaching unit load.
Courses may include all levels of acting, theatrical design and technology and related theatre courses.
