About The Position
The Art & Design Department at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is seeking applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments. The department offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art, Art History, and Design, with various minors. Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.
- Experience in teaching undergraduates from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
- Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check).
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
- A Master’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.
- A Doctoral degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.
- Experience teaching online.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned lower and upper division courses in the department’s curriculum.
- Serve weekly office hours based on assigned teaching unit load.
