About The Position

Ball State University is seeking temporary workers to support special events and athletic events. The role maintains a safe environment at University events and provides security, patron assistance, and event support for Sports Facilities Management. Applicants must successfully complete a background check. A cover letter and resume are optional.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work 3 of the 5 home football games.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and direction at special events for Sports Facilities Management.
• Check patrons as they enter facilities, including checking bags.
• Seat patrons according to ticket location.
• Maintain safety during special events.
• Secure facilities.
• Assist with event setup and take-down when needed.
• Scan and click tickets.
• Work miscellaneous events requiring security, bag checks, or similar support.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
