About The Position

This temporary assignment requires an individual to perform all normal departmental business operations and supervise others. The role reports to the Interim Director and ensures all business operations are compliant with UT and CSE policies, running smoothly, or assists in correcting them. The assignment is located at the Pickle Research Campus and is expected to continue until August 31, 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree related to the work to be performed.
  • Five years’ management experience within a large organization.
  • UT experience with UT accounting system and DEFINE, Workday/HR, Inventory, submission of proposals to OSP & D2I, processing travel RTAs and reimbursements, and UT's administrative policies & procedures.
  • Processing invoice and procard payment vouchers.
  • Supervisory management experience.
  • Use of UT Procards.

Responsibilities

  • Track center account budgets.
  • Coordinate and approve administrative documents as the Electronic Office Manager.
  • Ensure CEER business practices comply with UT policies (accounting, HR, inventory, Procard and travel).
  • Provide account budgets to the CEER Interim Director and four PIs as needed.
  • Make appointments and maintain/develop appointment planning documents.
  • Process vouchers as needed.
