About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Temperature Controls Installation Helper in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas. The role involves assisting lead technicians with the installation of control panels, thermostats, and sensors, as well as running and securing low-voltage control wire and conduit. Responsibilities also include mounting components, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic technical drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or climb ladders for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with installing control panels, thermostats, and sensors.
- Run, pull, and secure low-voltage control wire and conduit.
- Mount electronic and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
- Clean up work areas and organize tools and materials on the job site.
- Follow all company, jobsite and OSHA safety rules.
