The Programs and Event Production Coordinator is conceived as a temporary role to last an initial 6-12 weeks. The Coordinator will work directly with the Rose Art Museum director to develop and plan a calendar of public programs to take place September through December 2026, which will include a VIP event on September 8 and a public reception in celebration of opening fall shows on September 9. Engaging, diverse, top quality, high-profile programming is a cornerstone of the museum’s strategic plan and mission. To do this well, learning about scheduled exhibition content is part of the role. An expectation is that the Coordinator will be able to envision and help translate exhibition themes, artists’ concerns, and related issues from public life into enriching programs with educational outcomes.
