The Speech & Hearing Sciences department at the University of New Mexico (UNM) anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and/or Summer 2027 Semesters. Anticipated openings will be for Adjuncts who can teach courses in a broad range of subject areas, including but not limited to Introduction to Communication Disorders, Child language development, Child language disorders, Hearing Science, and Anatomy & Physiology. The department is seeking qualified temporary part time faculty members to teach undergraduate and/or graduate level classes in various disciplines. Instructors are responsible for all aspects of any class they are teaching, including meeting with the class, delivering curriculum, developing and grading assignments, reporting grades, and assessing student learning outcomes. Positions are contingent upon need each semester, determined by student enrollment, course schedules, and graduation requirements. Candidates selected will report to the Chair of the Speech & Hearing Sciences department.
