About The Position

The Part-time Event Brand Ambassador represents the Hoosier Lottery brand at special events and sponsorship activations, helping promote a positive player experience. The role operates promotional activities, sells and redeems lottery tickets, awards prizes, validates tickets, and verifies cash and inventory at events. It also involves setting up and taking down promotional equipment, following event security and safety procedures, and assisting Regional Promotions Specialists at events on retailer property. Other tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Complete required training within a 60-day onboarding period.
Availability to work weekends, afternoons, evenings, and some holidays.
Availability to work the Indiana State Fair from late July through late August.
Ability to meet physical expectations for event setup and teardown, including lifting at least 25 pounds and standing for long periods.
Ability to use a navigation system.
Ability to manage and balance money transactions accurately.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with the public.

Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Operate promotional games and activities, including wheel spins and giveaways.
Sell and redeem Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off and draw game tickets at sponsored events.
Award monetary and non-monetary prizes to winners at sponsored events.
Perform ticket validations for sellers and players at sponsored events.
Verify inventory and cash at event opening and closing.
Assist with setup and teardown of promotional equipment at each event.
Uphold event security, safety, and integrity policies and procedures.
Assist Regional Promotions Specialists at events held on retailer property.
Perform other required tasks as assigned.
