About The Position

As a Teller in PNC's retail organization, you will be based in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This in-office role focuses on delivering a distinctive customer experience that supports customers’ financial wellbeing, builds loyalty, and increases their engagement with PNC. You will process customer interactions, explain available financial transaction options, identify banking needs, and make appropriate referrals to branch staff. You will also engage with customers in the lobby and use technology, tools, and resources to help them manage their transactions and find relevant products and services. The role applies product and procedural knowledge to resolve customer problems, follows policies and procedures, uses sound judgment within established limits, and completes teller and branch operational and maintenance transactions accurately and efficiently. PNC highlights customer focus and effective risk management as important expectations. Prior experience and a university or college degree are not required. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred. The position is incentive eligible, with incentive payments based on company, business, and/or individual performance. PNC will not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

No degree is required; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role, including accuracy and attention to detail, addressing customer needs, communication, fraud detection and prevention, managing multiple priorities, problem solving, and understanding customer needs.
Adhere to policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits.

Responsibilities

Deliver a customer experience that supports financial wellbeing, builds loyalty, and increases customers’ engagement with PNC.
Process a variety of customer interactions.
Educate customers about alternatives for their financial interactions and options for managing transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
Identify banking opportunities through meaningful customer conversations and make appropriate referrals to branch staff.
Perform lobby engagement activities and position PNC products to meet customer needs.
Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
Follow policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits.
Complete teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately.
Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
