About The Position

DFCU Financial is hiring a part-time Teller for its Brighton branch. The Teller is the first point of contact for members, processing transactions accurately, maintaining cash standards, providing service and financial solutions, building relationships, meeting referral goals, and contributing to a positive branch environment. The role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and assisting in any area of the branch as needed. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service, cash handling, and balancing experience.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to initiate and embrace change.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds, usually coin.
Saturday hours are required on a rotational schedule.
Flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

Efficiently process daily work in a multi-tasking environment.
Accurately process teller transactions and maintain cash balancing standards.
Follow policies and procedures, including branch compliance and security procedures.
Provide superior service to prospective and existing members.
Maintain product and service knowledge to assist members.
