Teller (West Beverley Branch)
About The Position
The Teller is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The position performs basic customer and cash transactions, balances cash daily, identifies referral opportunities, and develops knowledge of bank products and services, including other lines of business. The Teller must follow applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures, and identify and escalate risks through proper channels. The role also requires learning and adapting to changing digital channels and performing other duties as assigned. The position is supervised by the assigned leader of the branch. Shifts may vary depending on business need. Eligible teammates may participate in a comprehensive benefits package, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
