About The Position

As a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) at Space Coast Credit Union’s West Pines Branch, you will assist members with deposits, loans, and new account processing. You will assess members’ needs, recommend relevant SCCU products and services, and resolve issues efficiently. The role involves providing accurate transactions and account support while delivering exceptional member service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet established sales and service goals.
• Consult with members about SCCU products and services and recommend offerings that meet their needs.
• Periodically serve as floor manager, assess walk-in members’ needs, direct them to appropriate information sources, and help maintain lobby efficiency and minimize wait times.
• Perform transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sales of monetary instruments.
• Accurately balance cash, monetary instruments, and daily work.
• Service existing deposit and loan accounts and assist members with transactions and account maintenance.
• Effectively use the computer terminal, online system, required commands, general ledger fee codes, and transaction codes to produce accurate work.
