About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a front-line, customer-focused role. The Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience. As a primary customer contact, the Teller represents the branch through attentive service, accuracy, and genuine care. The role builds foundational retail banking skills. Tellers learn about customers’ needs, introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connect customers with bankers for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo provides training, coaching, and a team-based culture to support career growth and mobility. The position is based at 660 Bailey Rd, Pittsburg, CA 94565. The schedule will include Saturdays. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs, connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
